AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure.

You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning to pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability as a solo senior contributor. You will develop data pipelines from enterprise sources, model Bronze/Silver/Gold layers with SQLMesh, and implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with full production pipeline ownership.
• Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using ADF and Azure Functions.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning with CI/CD using GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
• Ability to audit/operate an existing data platform built by a third-party vendor.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise source systems into Snowflake.
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure via Terraform, including Snowflake objects and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and access control standards (Snowflake RBAC, HIPAA-aligned handling).
• Configure and maintain cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure Private Endpoints, Private Link).
• Build and operate platform-wide observability with Datadog for pipeline health and data lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality frameworks.
• Apply Agile practices and establish reusable data engineering standards.
