AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative. You will build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform datasets, and develop AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

Expect production-grade SQL and Python work, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus cloud experience (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure) is required.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL with window functions and semi-structured data handling.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud data ecosystem ( AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and translate needs into technical specs.
• Maintains thorough technical documentation and clear code comments.
• English level: upper-intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with internal data team to model and transform data in Snowflake.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata for AI readiness.
• Prepare datasets for retail initiatives and analytics projects.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data wrangling and pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into clean, structured data models.
• Parse and flatten semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads).
• Build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake.
• Document data dictionaries and model descriptions.
