AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning to pipeline development, governance, and observability.

You will craft Bronze/Silver/Gold models, manage Terraform resources, implement GitHub Actions CI/CD, and ensure HIPAA-aligned data handling. This is a solo senior contributor role with high ownership.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with full pipeline ownership.
• Proven track record building and managing cloud data platforms, with Snowflake admin/ tuning expertise.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, dimensional design, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using ADF & Azure Functions.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and solid CI/CD using GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines from enterprise sources into Snowflake using Azure components.
• Build and optimize Bronze/Silver/Gold data models with SQLMesh.
• Provision platform infrastructure via Terraform, including Snowflake and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and HIPAA-aligned handling.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure Private Endpoints, Private DNS).
• Maintain platform observability with Datadog, data lineage, and quality checks.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality frameworks.
• Apply Agile practices with stakeholders and establish engineering standards.
