AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform from the ground up on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

The role involves developing scalable data pipelines, building Bronze/Silver/Gold data models, implementing IaC with Terraform, and enforcing HIPAA-aligned data practices in a production-grade environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven track record building and managing cloud data platforms with Snowflake and Azure.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals including dimensional design and SCDs.
• Experience with SQLMesh or DBT in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using ADF and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines from enterprise sources into Snowflake.
• Build and optimize Bronze/Silver/Gold data models.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure via Terraform and manage Snowflake/Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and HIPAA-aligned practices.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity.
• Build platform observability with Datadog or equivalents.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders using Agile practices.
• Document data engineering standards and reusable patterns.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across pipelines and infra.
