Job summary

Meeru AI is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build the AI and intelligence layer for an AI-native platform serving finance and accounting teams. You will own end-to-end machine-learning models, LLMs, and agentic systems, ensuring outputs are grounded in verified data and auditable.

In this hands-on role, you will ship robust production systems, measure quality rigorously, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with US‑based leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or related leadership roles.
• Designed canonical data models used by multiple teams.
• Experience building configurable data pipelines for new sources.
• Expert SQL and dbt modeling at scale.
• Strong Python for pipelines, tooling and testing.
• Experience mentoring distributed/offshore teams.
• Clear English communication with US-based colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build production data pipelines and data models.
• Develop per-customer data layers with strong lineage and tests.
• Collaborate with architects, backend, and AI engineers to set standards.
• Lead design reviews and promote reusable, configurable solutions.
