AlertMedia is seeking an applied AI and machine learning engineer to advance our risk intelligence platform. You will train and fine-tune supervised models, lead prompt engineering, and build evaluation pipelines for LLMs and traditional ML systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/engineering preferred).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, Python preferred.
• 4+ years in data science or ML engineering / applied AI.

Responsibilities

• Train and fine-tune supervised learning models for internal tools and customer features.
• Lead prompt engineering and testing for LLM behavior across product suite.
• Design evaluation pipelines for LLMs and traditional ML models.
• Work with Elasticsearch-backed data systems powering AI pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve AI models and data workflows.
• Develop tools to support prompt iteration, benchmarking and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with security to ensure AI compliance.
