Jobot is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the evolution of our data ecosystem—from ingestion pipelines to analytics platforms. You will build and optimize pipelines, frameworks, and architecture powering internal analytics, financial reporting, and product intelligence.

The role centers on transforming business needs into scalable data solutions across cross-functional teams, with heavy emphasis on AWS, Snowflake, and modern tooling.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data or analytics engineering.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• Advanced SQL and complex transformations; DBT proficiency.
• Experience with Airflow, orchestration, and ingestion tools (Airbyte, Fivetran, Kafka).
• Proficiency with AWS data services and Looker/Tableau/Sisense for BI.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering to design scalable data systems.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for data engineering with scalability in mind.
• Standardize metrics and data definitions across teams.
• Enable internal use cases such as financial forecasting and operational reporting.
• Enable external data products like dashboards and self-serve analytics.
• Manage data lifecycle from ingestion to visualization.
• Build tools and frameworks to improve transparency of reporting.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Establish data quality, governance, and security frameworks.
• Champion best practices in data engineering and continuous improvement.
