Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Sr SRE Engineer to own cloud infrastructure in Guadalajara, Mexico, driving an infrastructure-as-code environment while monitoring health to advance innovation. The role emphasizes Cloud and DevOps culture and supports transformation of operational support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5-6 years of working experience with at least one public cloud platform (Azure or AWS).
Minimum 5-6 years Windows/Linux experience.
Minimum 3 years Terraform or other IaC platforms experience.
Strong knowledge of observability platforms (Grafana/Prometheus/Elastic/DataDog).
Experience running and managing large IT platform services across multiple regions.
Experience with container orchestration (Docker or Kubernetes).
Strong English communication (written and oral) skills.

Responsibilities

Own and manage cloud infrastructure and IaC environment.
Monitor infrastructure health and drive resilience and upgrades to minimize downtime.
Support L3 troubleshooting across multiple time zones.
Enable automation and CI/CD using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
Implement observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, DataDog or similar.
Guide deployments and outages with RCA analysis and post-mortems.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver reliable services.
