albo is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate the microservices powering our core financial products. You’ll own services end-to-end across a polyglot platform, partnering with Product, Infra, and other squads to ship reliable financial infrastructure.

You’ll design, implement, and operate backend services in Go and Java, build event-driven and REST integrations, ensure idempotency and data consistency across MongoDB and SingleStore, and deploy through CI/CD pipelines

Formación

• 5+ years of backend experience building and operating production services.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP preferred), containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with fintech/payments concepts is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices in Go and Java within a domain-oriented architecture.
• Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and on-call ownership.
• Build event-driven and REST integrations with strong idempotency and error handling.
• Model data across MongoDB and SingleStore while maintaining dual-write consistency.
• Ship via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GKE/Kubernetes on GCP) and manage secrets.
