albo, a leading fintech in Mexico, is seeking an Accounting Lead to become the technical leader of the accounting function, driving reporting excellence, regulatory compliance, internal controls and post-merger integration with the newly acquired SOFIPO.

You'll collaborate with executive leadership, auditors, regulators and cross-functional teams to standardize policies and strengthen controls while delivering accurate financial information for strategic decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• 6-10 years of accounting experience in Banking/Fintech/regulated finance.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF; IFRS and CNBV reporting.
• Experience leading financial close, audits, internal controls and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Experience with M&A, post-merger integration or finance transformation is a plus.
• Customer centricity and ownership; ability to work in fast-growth environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF and support IFRS and CNBV reporting.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and prepare audit support.
• Lead accounting integration of the newly acquired SOFIPO.
• Standardize accounting policies, procedures and chart of accounts across the Group.
• Strengthen internal controls and identify process automation opportunities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Operations and Product teams on strategic initiatives.
• Act as accounting SME and mentor junior team members.
