GBM is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Mexico City to design and implement scalable backend services and APIs. You will contribute to microservices, participate in architecture discussions, and drive reliability, performance, and maintainability across critical systems.

You will collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and fellow engineers, applying best practices in CI/CD, testing, and observability. A 5+ year track record in software engineering and fintech exposure are valued in this role.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• +5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience delivering backend services or APIs in production environments.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and peer engineering stakeholders.
• Exposure to scalable systems, production support, and quality-oriented engineering practices.
• Experience in fintech, capital markets, or high-availability environments is a plus.
