Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to join our global team. The role requires solid Java test automation, Selenium expertise, and REST API validation to deliver reliable, secure software solutions.

You will work with CI/CD processes, verify security fixes, and collaborate with developers, QA colleagues, and product stakeholders to raise quality standards across applications.

Qualifications

• Three-plus years of hands-on Java-driven test automation.
• Proven experience with Selenium tooling.
• Experience validating REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience embedding automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of web app security and OWASP vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, build out, and sustain automated testing scripts written in Java.
• Establish and maintain UI-level automation via Selenium.
• Write automated tests for REST APIs and backend services.
• Validate security patches and remediation efforts.
• Run functional, integration, and regression tests after updates.
• Verify results with Veracode or similar security testing tools.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to improve coverage and quality.
