Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong Java experience to join our team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing within an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to embed automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, automate REST and SOAP API tests, and ensure high-quality software releases across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in QA with at least 2+ years in test automation or a mix of development/testing.
• Strong experience in REST & SOAP API testing using SOAPUI and Groovy.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining automation scripts to meet acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
• Experience with Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Experience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases.
• Automate the test cases for regression testing, functional testing, smoke testing.
• Plan and execute automation tasks and ensure testing standards are followed within the team.
• Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline.
• Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Automate testing for back-end services (REST APIs).
• Document and report defects.
• Manage test data and test environments.
• Maintain test script version control.
