Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to join our team. You will design and develop Java-based automated tests, build UI automation with Selenium, and validate REST APIs and security fixes across complex enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to improve test coverage, ensure security testing is integrated into CI/CD, and drive quality across multi-national projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based test automation
• Strong practical experience with Selenium
• Strong experience testing REST APIs
• Experience integrating and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web application security concepts and OWASP vulnerabilities
• Ability to test and validate security-related fixes
• Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work with complex enterprise applications and workflows
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Working English fluency (B2 level or higher)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automated test scripts
• Build and maintain UI automation using Selenium
• Develop automated tests for REST APIs and backend services
• Validate security vulnerability fixes and remediations
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing following security fixes
• Validate findings and remediation results using Veracode or similar tools
• Coordinate with developers to reproduce security issues and verify fixes
• Ensure remediation does not introduce regressions in critical functionality
• Analyze automated test results and support root-cause investigation
• Perform API and database-level validation when required
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation, and quality practices across applications
