Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Lead Automation Quality Engineer to shape and execute the automation QA strategy for mobile apps (iOS/Android) and CMS web platforms. You will develop robust test frameworks, mentor teams, and ensure high-quality releases across a shared codebase.

The role requires 5+ years in automation QA, strong TS skills, Appium, Playwright and WebdriverIO experience, plus English fluency.

Qualifications

• Over five years in automation QA with hands-on experience.
• Experience guiding and overseeing development teams.
• Appium for mobile automation; Playwright for web testing.
• TypeScript for automation scripting and WebdriverIO familiarity.
• Strong regression testing and test strategy background.
• Fluent English; ability to translate requirements into architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing coverage for iOS and Android apps.
• Create automated tests for the CMS web platform (ReactJS/TypeScript/AWS).
• Design automated API tests using REST, Swagger and AWS API Gateway.
• Build and sustain automated regression suites across mobile and CMS.
• Implement automated smoke tests to validate production releases.
