Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Mexico City seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager to lead one or more development teams, drive complex project delivery, and provide technical oversight across applications.

You will manage performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and disciplinary actions, coordinate with the Technology team, review proposed solutions, and ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Technology or related areas (mandatory).
• More than 3 years in Banking Industry or 5 years in Consumer Goods/Retail.
• Led Technical Leads or equivalent for at least 3 years with backend knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Applications Development teams to achieve goals and perform personnel duties (evaluations, hiring, discipline).
• Provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects.
• Contribute to strategies for applications development and other functional areas.
• Develop knowledge of how business areas integrate to achieve goals.
• Monitor delivery, support budget management, and manage staff resources.
