Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Mexico City is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage invoice accuracy and timely billing for maritime shipments. You will coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in International Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, international transport, freight forwarding or related areas.
• Experience in billing/invoicing, ideally in logistics.
• Knowledge of logistics and Incoterms.
• Intermediate English.
• Attention to detail, organization, effective communication and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the billing process for assigned maritime shipments, ensuring invoice accuracy and client requirements.
• Ensure timely issuance and delivery of invoices per procedures and timelines.
• Track billing incidents (rejected/cancelled/taxed invoices) and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Validate billing information including rates, Incoterms, customer codes and currencies.
• Keep records up to date, follow up on tickets, and identify discrepancies between systems and processes.
