Location: Monterrey. Selected candidate will attend office 3 days a week. SAP seeks an IT Technology Associate Consultant to support infrastructure and SAP backend operations across global data centers and cloud providers.

The role focuses on server management, incident handling, OS administration (Linux), and collaboration with international teams. Strong scripting, virtualization, and documentation skills are required for success.

Formación

• BE / BTech / MCA from a reputable institute.
• 3+ years of work experience in Linux administration.
• IT experience with DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, Postfix.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, RAID concepts.
• Scripting experience - Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similar.
• Working experience in Virtualization (XEN, VMware).
• Experience with OS monitoring, backup/restore, configuration automation technologies (Chef).
• Experience working in an international environment, able to work with international teams.
• Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs).
• Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge proactively and independently.
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
• Basic Knowledge in Network and Storage.
• Knowledge in one or more listed SAP-related products.
• Work experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java Basis Administration).
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases.
• Exposure to ITIL framework.

Responsabilidades

• Handle Incidents, Alerts, and Service Requests.
• Delivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes with technical expertise.
• Plan, setup, implement, and operate SAP technologies with ambitious SLAs.
• Design, configure, and administer server landscapes focusing on Linux OS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, App and DB issues.
• Manage daily operations to ensure high availability.
• Document technical concepts and share KBAs with the team.
• Coordinate with international teams on global projects and crisis handling.
• Specialize in one area and own end-to-end incident/service request closures.
