Job summary
SOGEFI Group is seeking an Automated Systems and Machine Safety Expert based at our Monterrey plant in Mexico. You will serve as the technical reference for automation, robotics, and safety, leading projects and supporting manufacturing improvements across the line.
You will coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Industrialization to resolve complex issues, audit equipment, and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Robotics engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years in automated manufacturing; automotive exposure preferred.
- Experience leading automation projects and equipment integration.
- Machine safety training or certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the plant technical reference for automation, robotics and machine safety.
- Lead automation projects, prepare specifications, and oversee commissioning.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance before production.
- Support continuous improvement and root-cause investigations.
- Provide training to Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
