Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Mexico City seeks a Risk & Compliance Transformation Project Manager to shape and lead a World Class Change agenda across the Risk and Compliance function. You will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with regional leaders to drive delivery, governance and talent development while reporting progress to senior management.

You will manage cross‑regional programmes, oversee planning, resource allocation and risk mitigation, and ensure alignment with Group policies.

Qualifications

• Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives.
• Very strong knowledge of regulatory, political and competitor dynamics.
• Outstanding knowledge of transformation projects, especially in financial crime compliance.
• Proven experience interacting with senior managers across the Group.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments.
• Strong analytical capability to contextualise data into business actions.
• Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale change initiatives.
• Evidence of successfully managing financial plans.
• Experience developing and retaining critical talent and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop long and short term plans for the Country and LAM aligned to the Risk and Compliance Transformation strategy.
• Support Transformation leadership to manage change via priority programmes.
• Coordinate country and regional transformation programmes and build change competency.
• Work with delivery partners on planning, design and estimating; manage dependencies across projects.
• Ensure global programmes have regional support and resources.
• Conduct workforce planning for regional resources and build capabilities.
• Foster collaboration across Compliance Transformation teams and standardise delivery.
• Identify, develop and retain talent and support transitions to accountable roles.
• Drive portfolio and pipeline management for the region, including new demand and annual planning.
• Oversee regional portfolio monitoring and reporting; manage risks and issues.
• Reassess operational risk and adhere to governance standards (Three Lines of Defence).
• Escalate compliance risks and promote a strong compliance culture.
