Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, México, is seeking a Conference Services Manager to lead the events team and drive exceptional client experiences. You will coordinate with Sales and Catering, manage budgets, and ensure flawless execution of functions for high-profile groups.

The role requires 2–3 years in hotel operations, strong English/Spanish communication, and the ability to work flexible hours. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; CMP certification preferred.
• 2–3 years experience in hotel operations.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
• High level of creativity.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client-driven environment.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends and evenings.
• Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team and department on a day-to-day basis.
• Execute the department’s financial budget and upselling efforts.
• Monthly financial reporting on department P&L and budgets with the CD.
• Negotiate with clients to maximize revenue and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Build exceptional relationships with clients based on trust and personalized attention.
• Coordinate with Sales and Catering to optimize function space for revenue.
• Finalize bookings and communicate requirements across departments; maintain follow-up systems.
• Oversee banquet event execution and ensure client satisfaction.
• Plan and participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including key briefings and reviews.
• Comply with Four Seasons standards and maintain professional collaboration with teams.
