Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, México, is seeking an Assistant Department Leader to elevate the cocktail and bar beverage program. You will lead by example, develop the team, and ensure service excellence that reflects the resort’s luxury standards and culinary vision.

You will manage the wine list, drive beverage initiatives, and oversee training, guest engagement, and cost control to deliver exceptional experiences. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in fine dining bars or luxury hospitality.
• Proven mixology and cocktail program development experience.
• Wine and spirits education or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure service quality per Four Seasons standards.
• Lead and develop bar team; train on cocktails, wine, and service excellence.
• Manage wine list, beverage program, and cost control with profitability focus.
• Collaborate with Restaurant General Manager and Culinary team on beverage initiatives.
• Uphold sanitation, safety, and brand standards across all bar operations.
