Job summary

TubeScience is seeking an experienced payroll professional to own U.S. payroll, contractor payments, and Employer of Record payroll support across the company. This hands-on role requires independent management of payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance as the organization grows.

You will own regular and off-cycle U.S. payroll in Rippling, validate hires and terminations, reconcile contractor payments, and coordinate payroll processing through EOR partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years directly administering U.S. payroll.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll in Rippling.
• Experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll; California and/or New York preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, wage deductions, federal and state requirements.
• Experience independently investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for reconciliations and reporting.
• Professional fluency in English; strong communication with employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution and administration of U.S. payroll and contractor payments.
• Interact with Finance, HR, Accounting, employees, and external payroll partners.
• Ensure payroll data is clean, discrepancies resolved quickly, and processes audit-ready.
