Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join its remote talent acquisition team in Mexico. You will identify, engage, and hire for software development, engineering, data science, and IT infrastructure roles, partnering with hiring managers to define needs and build a strong candidate pipeline.

This remote-first role requires strong sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills, plus the ability to work independently across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting for software engineering, IT, and data science roles.
• Deep understanding of technical jargon, programming languages, and IT concepts.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
• Excellent sourcing skills with a track record of finding passive candidates.
• Strong interviewing and assessment abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote setting.
• Fluency in English is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for technical positions, assessing skills and cultural fit.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networks.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and craft compelling job descriptions.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates for current and future openings.
• Provide a high-quality candidate experience with timely communication and feedback.
• Track recruitment metrics and report on pipeline status and source effectiveness.
• Stay updated on technology trends and their impact on talent markets.
• Contribute to employer branding to attract top talent.
• Ensure diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.
