Job summary

Attorney Ernesto Law Group is seeking a precise, analytical Remote Technical Legal Writer to support immigration and defense practices. You will draft narrative declarations, assemble evidentiary arguments, and convert interview content into polished English filings under attorney supervision.

Ideal candidates have advanced English, meticulous proofreading, and experience in legal or technical copywriting. A strong home office setup and reliable internet are essential for remote collaboration

Qualifications

Advanced/ Fluent English (C1/C2) required.
Experience in legal writing, academic writing, journalism, translation, or technical copywriting preferred.
Direct immigration law drafting experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Transform client interview notes, testimonies, and translations into polished English declarations (Asylum, VAWA, etc.).
Draft statements of facts, letters of support, and exhibit indexes for filings.
Research country conditions and rights reports to support legal arguments.
Review filings and narratives to fix grammar, tone, and ambiguities.
Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to meet deadlines remotely.
