PwC Acceleration Centers in Mexico City is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend applications using Java (Spring Boot) and modern JS frameworks. You will work across RESTful APIs, microservices, and data stores, delivering robust, scalable software.

The role lives in an Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps-driven environment with a focus on modernization, performance improvements, and feature enhancements for Freight, Rail, and Logistics domains.

Formación

• Experience in full-stack development with Java and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

The Java Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend and frontend applications. This role requires expertise in Angular with Java-based backend development (Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, SQL) and modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js).

The developer will work in an Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps-driven environment, focusing on application modernization, performance improvements, and feature enhancements for mission-critical applications in Freight, Rail, and Logistics.

Required Technical Skills

• Mobile Platforms: iOS (Swift), Hybrid (Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova), Angular
• Cloud & Security: AWS/Azure/GCP, OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, IAM Policies

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development (Frontend & Backend)
• Backend (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices)
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Implement database interactions with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Optimize backend performance, ensure scalability and fault tolerance.
• Frontend (React.js / Angular / Vue.js)
• Integrate UI components with REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time data updates.
• Optimize frontend performance (lazy loading, caching, code splitting).

API & Integration Development

• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.
• Implement asynchronous messaging using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Work on API Gateway solutions (Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, Azure API Management).
• Develop and maintain third-party API integrations (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Payment Gateways, etc.).

DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Deployment

• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
• Manage cloud-based deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Work with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog, New Relic).

Performance Optimization & Security

• Optimize backend query performance and database indexing.
• Improve frontend load times, caching strategies, and CDN integrations.
• Work with SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Veracode for static code analysis and security compliance.
• Participate in Agile sprints, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and QA Engineers.
• Document technical designs, API contracts, and deployment guides.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
