Core Code io is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role covers general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Experience using accounting software, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payments, expenses, and account adjustments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare analyses, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Assist with financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure transactions are properly classified and compliant with policies.
• Research discrepancies and maintain organized accounting records.
