Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Senior HR Director to build the people function from scratch, owning talent acquisition, executive recruiting, organizational design, and performance management. You will implement a measurable accountability culture, headhunt C-suite and senior leaders, and report directly to senior leadership.

The role requires strategic operator capabilities, remote work, and adherence to US employment regulations across distributed teams, including EOR and contractor frameworks.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leadership experience in a growing organization.
• Experience headhunting and closing senior leadership hires.
• Strong knowledge of US employment practices, EOR, and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment at all levels, including executive search.
• Lead executive searches and closing senior hires.
• Plan resources/headcount with business unit leaders.
• Design onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Create KPI-driven performance accountability with leadership.
• Develop career maps and leadership capability in managers.
• Lead organizational design as the company scales.
• Handle employee relations with fairness and discretion.
• Maintain policies and the employee handbook per US regulations.
• Ensure compliance across distributed teams and contractor frameworks.
