Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Senior HR Director to build the people function from the ground up. You will own talent acquisition, executive recruiting, organizational design, and performance management, reporting directly to senior leadership.

This role is 100% remote, open to candidates in Latin America, and focuses on driving an ROI-based, compliant HR operation that can scale to 80–100 employees.

Qualifications

• Experience building HR from scratch in a scaling company.
• Strong executive search capabilities with direct closing of senior hires.
• Familiarity with US employment practices, EOR and contractor frameworks.
• Ability to design scalable people processes and drive ROI through human capital.

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment at all levels, from entry to executive search.
• Lead executive searches including sourcing, assessment and closing.
• Plan resources and headcount with business leaders to anticipate needs.
• Design onboarding and offboarding for rapid productivity and respectful exits.
• Define KPI-driven performance management and quarterly check-ins.
• Lead organizational design as the company scales and evolves its structure.
• Manage employee relations with fairness and compliance; resolve issues promptly.
