Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Sales Development Engineer for Data Centers in LATAM. You will map the LATAM Data Center ecosystem, engage consultants, data center owners, developers, EPCs, and contractors to create demand for Grundfos cooling and water solutions, and drive specifications from concept through award.

You bring 4–6 years of project sales experience in Data Centers or related infra, strong English and Spanish, and a consultative, technically minded approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in project sales, business development, or technical sales within Data Centers or related infrastructure.
• Proven ability to engage consultants, owners, operators, EPCs, and contractors on long-cycle, specification-driven projects.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Map the LATAM Data Center ecosystem to identify strategic projects, influence customers, and key decision-makers at the earliest possible stage.
• Qualify opportunities where Grundfos can deliver differentiated value and maintain an accurate, up-to-date project pipeline in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers, owners, operators, and contractors to design and specify Grundfos pumps, systems, controls, digital solutions, and services for Data Center applications.
• Position Grundfos as the preferred brand in project specifications and follow opportunities through the full lifecycle—from concept and design to tender and award.
• Hand over RFIs, RFQs, and RFOs to the appropriate sales channels and continue collaborating through order capture.
• Represent Grundfos at industry conferences, associations, and technical events while delivering workshops and training sessions that keep customers current on solutions and trends
