Job summary

Grundfos LATAM is seeking a Sales Development Engineer for Data Centers Commercial Business to drive demand across LATAM for data center cooling and water solutions. You will map the ecosystem, engage engineers, owners, EPCs, and contractors, and convert value-based specifications into wins while guiding projects from concept through tender and award.

Remote work from anywhere in Mexico is possible. Reports to Lead Key Account Manager, Data Centers CBS Latam; relocation is not offered and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Energy, or related engineering field.
• 4–6 years in project sales, business development, or technical sales within Data Centers, HVAC, cooling, pumps, controls, or related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience engaging consultants, owners, operators, EPCs, and contractors on long-cycle, specification-driven projects.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Map the LATAM Data Center ecosystem to identify strategic projects and influence key decision-makers.
• Qualify opportunities and maintain an accurate project pipeline in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers, owners, operators, and contractors to design and specify Grundfos pumps, systems, and controls for Data Center applications.
• Position Grundfos as the preferred brand in project specifications and follow opportunities through from concept to award.
• Handover RFIs, RFQs, and RFOs to the appropriate sales channels and support order capture.
• Represent Grundfos at industry conferences and deliver workshops to keep customers informed.
