AgileEngine is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs, focusing on API design patterns, performance, scalability, and security. You will write clean Rails code against PostgreSQL, review code, and collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill API requirements.

The role is remote with a 4-hour overlap for LATAM candidates. You will design, develop, and optimize APIs, ensure performance and security, and participate in reviews and discussions with distributed

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong command of API design patterns and Rails best practices.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures.
• Experience with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
