Pavago seeks a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to build, optimize, and maintain scalable web applications powering SaaS products. The role focuses on backend architecture, APIs, databases, and performance, with collaboration across product, engineering, and design teams.

The ideal engineer has deep Rails expertise, a passion for clean code, secure and reliable systems, and ownership from development through deployment. Remote work is supported.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional Ruby on Rails development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Ruby, Rails, ActiveRecord, and MVC architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Experience with background job frameworks such as Sidekiq or Resque.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend application architecture.
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience writing automated tests using RSpec or Minitest.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and enhance Rails applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Develop scalable business logic using Rails conventions and ActiveRecord.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs while integrating third-party services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers when required.
• Contribute to feature development from planning through deployment.
