Job summary

MongoDB in Mexico City, can be remote, seeks a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to guide customers in designing scalable data platform solutions and to work with the sales and Field Solutions Architecture teams. You will help customers review complex architectures, design scalable systems, and communicate MongoDB value.

Requires 5–8 years experience, cloud and scripting skills, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with modern scripting languages (Python/Node.js/SQL) and/or languages like C/C++/Java/C#.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Proven ability to explain complex tech and business concepts clearly.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team on end-to-end deal cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect scalable apps and infrastructure using MongoDB.
• Advise on architecture patterns and articulate MongoDB business value to stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales on planning, qualification, and pipeline activities.
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster customer relationships and ensure success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share field feedback with product.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with MongoDB products.
