Job summary

In The Network is seeking a meticulous Personal Injury Case & Financial Auditor to join its legal operations team. In this dual-role, you will audit both case file integrity and financial transactions related to personal injury matters, including medical billing, settlements, and lien resolutions.

You will collaborate with attorneys, case managers, paralegals, and accounting staff to identify errors, ensure compliance, and implement corrective actions that strengthen controls and reporting

Qualifications

1–3 years in legal auditing or paralegal roles in a PI firm.
Experience auditing case files, settlements, and medical billing.
Familiarity with lien types and IOLTA rules is a plus.

Responsibilities

Audit active and closed PI case files for completeness and compliance.
Verify documentation: retainer agreements, medical authorizations, accident reports, medical records, settlement agreements.
Review timelines for deadlines and court dates.
Audit financial transactions: cost advances, medical bills, settlements, liens.
Prepare audit reports and track corrective actions.
Maintain audit logs and dashboards.
