DM Legal is seeking an experienced Part-Time Business Immigration Paralegal with an E-2 focus to manage assigned cases from intake to filing under attorney supervision. This fully remote project assignment requires coordinating with clients, accountants, and writers to ensure complete and accurate documentation.

The role involves preparing investment summaries, organizing financial records, and drafting forms and response letters for RFE.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience preparing E-2 treaty investor cases.
• Experience reviewing business/financial documents and organizing investment evidence.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage case preparation independently under attorney supervision.
• Professional client communication and reliable follow-through.
• Experience with consular E-2 applications or USCIS changes.
• Familiarity with other business immigration categories is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned cases, track deadlines, and follow up with clients for required information and documents.
• Review business formation documents, ownership records, purchase agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Collect and organize documents showing investment funds origin and transfers.
• Prepare investment summaries and match business expenses with supporting records.
• Gather evidence of business operations: leases, licenses, contracts, equipment, payroll, financial statements.
• Coordinate with clients, accountants, and business plan writers to ensure complete/consistent documents.
• Identify missing documents or conflicting information; flag issues for the attorney.
• Draft immigration forms, support letters, exhibit lists, and responses for requests for evidence.
• Organize and prepare application packages per USCIS/consulate requirements.
• Assist with interview materials, case follow-up, and deadline tracking.
• Assist with other business immigration matters as needed.
