Job summary

DM Legal is seeking an experienced business immigration paralegal for a fully remote, part-time project assignment focused on E-2 cases. You will manage intake through filing, draft materials, and coordinate with attorneys while handling up to 10 cases.

Responsibilities include reviewing corporate documents, gathering investment evidence, preparing application packages, drafting support letters, and organizing exhibits for USCIS or consulates. Some L-1, H-1B, O-1 work may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience preparing E-2 treaty investor cases.
• Experience reviewing business and financial documents and organizing investment evidence.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage case preparation independently under attorney supervision.
• Professional client communication and reliable follow-through.
• Experience with consular E-2 applications or USCIS status changes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases, track deadlines, and follow up with clients for required information.
• Review business formation documents, ownership records, and purchase agreements.
• Collect and organize investment funds sources and transfers.
• Prepare investment summaries and match expenses with supporting records.
• Gather evidence of business operations including leases, contracts, and payroll.
• Coordinate with clients, accountants, and plan writers to ensure complete documents.
• Identify missing documents and flag issues for attorney review.
• Draft immigration forms, support letters, and responses for E-2 and related petitions.
• Organize and prepare application packages per USCIS/Consulate requirements.
• Assist with interview prep and tracking deadlines.
• Assist with L-1, H-1B, O-1 as needed.
