Job summary

Hempel is seeking a Senior Coating Advisor to provide expert technical support to sales teams, customers and stakeholders. The role includes inspections, surveys and overseeing product applications, plus training and reporting.

Remote work with extensive travel to jobsites is required, ideally located near Monterrey, Mexico or Gulf Coast region. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in coatings, marine coating exposure, and strong English business proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor degree is required.
• Minimum 5+ years in the coating industry.
• Marine coating experience is preferred.
• Business English proficiency required (oral and written).
• Willing to travel up to 80% (domestic and international) with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Perform physical inspections and condition surveys; oversee product application activities.
• Conduct technical analysis of product specs and prepare technical briefings.
• Prepare inspection reports using digital reporting software; evaluate proposals for technical accuracy.
• Deliver onsite training to coatings applicators and sales teams.
• Educate customers on performance and value of technical services; maintain compliance with Product Data Sheets.
