Job summary

Grundfos seeks a Sales Development Engineer for Data Centers LATAM to map the LATAM ecosystem, build a qualified project pipeline, and drive value-based specifications for data center cooling and water solutions.

The role involves engaging consultants, data center owners, EPCs, and contractors, traveling as needed, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to convert opportunities from concept to award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in project sales, business development, or technical sales within Data Centers, HVAC, cooling, pumps, controls, or related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience engaging consultants, owners, operators, EPCs, and contractors on long‑cycle, specification‑driven projects.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Map the LATAM Data Center ecosystem to identify strategic projects and key decision-makers.
• Qualify opportunities and maintain an accurate project pipeline in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, owners, operators, and contractors to design and specify Grundfos pumps, systems, and services for Data Center applications.
• Position Grundfos as the preferred brand in project specifications and manage opportunities through design to award.
