LawnStarter seeks an engineering leader to scale delivery across distributed teams and drive AI-enabled workflows. You will own both people development and delivery, coaching engineers to grow into senior roles while ensuring reliable shipping across time zones.

The role emphasizes direct conflict resolution, data-driven leadership, and maintaining team culture in a fully remote setup. You will partner with Product, Design, and other engineering teams, setting technical direction, balancing

Formación

• Deeply AI-integrated leadership experience; able to drive AI workflows in code review and planning.
• Proven track record developing engineers, with documented growth plans and underperformer management.
• Experience leading fully remote teams across time zones with async decision-making.
• Direct, transparent conflict resolution and performance management.
• Ability to measure and discuss team velocity, retention risk, and IC growth with data.
• Credible technically while empowering teams and avoiding bottlenecks.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery and people outcomes; ensure team ships on cadence with quality.
• Serve as interface between Product, Design, and engineering, driving alignment.
• Provide technical direction while removing blockers and balancing architecture risk.
• Lead AI adoption to improve throughput without sacrificing craftsmanship.
• Mentor engineers to grow into senior roles and tech leads across verticals.
• Manage distributed ceremonies and maintain team culture and accountability.
