Job summary

LawnStarter Inc. is seeking a Principal Quality Engineer in a fully remote role, reporting to the Head of Engineering.

You will own and evolve the quality strategy across the QA discipline, partnering with engineers to raise the bar and push the state of the art as the company scales. This is hands‑on, not a ticket‑approval job: you will lead AI‑native tooling, define quality contracts, strengthen CI/CD gates, and mentor QA engineers across squads.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on across test pyramid: component, contract, API, E2E, performance testing.
• Own the technical and craft side of QA across the org.
• Coach QA engineers and mentor across squads.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the quality strategy with the QA team.
• Lead AI-native quality tooling integration.
• Improve CI/CD gates and test infrastructure.
• Develop production quality signals and dashboards.
• Mentor QA engineers across all squads.
