Bluelight LLC is a leading software consultancy focused on delivering high-quality backend systems. You will design, build, and evolve scalable Elixir services, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into robust APIs.

The role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with flexible hours and remote options, plus ongoing learning, and opportunities to work on challenging projects for diverse clients.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with backend focus.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP and distributed systems.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense and ability to build reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to release, including technical specs and testing.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
