Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Remote Project Manager to drive digital transformation initiatives from planning to closing. The role is fully remote within Mexico, requiring 5+ years of experience and strong skills in Asana, Trello, Slack, and Teams.

You will lead distributed teams, manage budgets and timelines, and report progress to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will excel in a remote-first environment, prioritize asynchronous collaboration, and deliver high-impact IT and business function

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with emphasis on digital transformation/IT projects.
• Experience managing projects remotely and leading virtual teams.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Asana, Trello, Slack, Teams).
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of modern digital technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation projects from conception through completion.
• Define scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage remote project teams and foster a collaborative virtual environment.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders using digital tools.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality standards.
• Conduct regular project reviews and report status to senior leadership.
