Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join their remote-first team. You will plan, execute, and close IT projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery on time and on budget in a virtual environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of IT project management experience, and proficiency with Jira, Asana, and MS Project. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and Mexico work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of IT project management experience.
• Proven experience managing software development, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, especially in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a strong plus.
• Must be fluent in Spanish and have excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly.
• Manage project execution, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead virtual team meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors as needed.
• Track project performance and analyze achievement of goals.
• Prepare regular project status reports for senior management.
