Job summary

DEUNA is seeking a DevOps Engineer - Data Platform to strengthen its AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, and observability. You will collaborate with DevOps/SRE and Data Engineering to scale data platforms like Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas while ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.

You will design and automate infrastructure, implement CI/CD, and advance monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry. Remote, LATAM-friendly opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering for production data platforms.
• Strong AWS networking and cross‑account connectivity experience.
• Hands‑on with Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas architecture, access mgmt, and backups.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for automation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for DevOps and Data Engineering workloads.
• Build and maintain IaC with Terraform and AWS CDK; develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance observability with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki/Tempo/OpenTelemetry.
• Support Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas connectivity, performance, security, and cost.
• Implement secure cross‑account networking and VPC architecture.
• Improve reliability, disaster recovery, and cross‑region backup strategies.
• Apply DevSecOps practices including IAM, secrets mgmt, and PCI DSS controls.
• Participate in incident response, RCA, and continuous reliability improvements.
