DEUNA is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and develop scalable backend systems. In this role, you'll focus on creating high-quality, reliable services and guide engineering teams through technical decisions. Collaboration with Engineering Managers and Product teams is key to delivering robust backend solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend development experience and strong skills in Golang or Python. The position offers benefits including remote work options and support for health insurance.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Experience working with distributed systems, REST or GraphQL APIs, event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching (Redis or similar), messaging systems.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• English language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Develop scalable and secure distributed systems.
• Define and implement best practices for performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
