Placements24 is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role to enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation across our modern stack. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable pipelines and IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation, while ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud operations.

Join a remote-first team and collaborate with developers to optimize deployments, automate tasks, and monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, sysadmin, or software engineering.
• Proven cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Responsabilités

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Implement Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
• Automate system administration tasks and processes.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance with monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash or Python.
• Keep up-to-date with DevOps tools and best practices.
• Contribute to architecture and logging/monitoring.
• Manage and optimize cloud costs.
