AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data from source systems into a cloud data warehouse.

You will tailor shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean and reusable. The role demands 3–4 years of data engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and hands-on Airflow, with familiarity in Redshift or similar

Formación

• 3–4 years of experience in data engineering or a related software role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Knowledge of ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Redshift or equivalents).
• Git/GitLab (or GitHub/Bitbucket) for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose for development and deployment.
• Ability to translate client requirements into SQL, configs, and DAG changes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across development, staging, and production.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting.
• Adapt shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping a clean, reusable codebase.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization, including infrastructure upgrades and new data tech.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
