AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data from source systems into a cloud data warehouse.

You will adapt shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean and reusable, collaborate with client teams, and contribute to platform modernization across environments. Remote work is supported.

Formación

• 3–4 years of data engineering or related software role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, star schemas.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs and scheduling).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git/GitLab for version control.
• Docker and Docker Compose.
• Ability to translate client requirements into SQL and DAG changes.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting.
• Adapt shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping code reusable.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization and data technology upgrades.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
