AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering institutional analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data from source systems into a cloud data warehouse.

You will adapt shared pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean, and collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Formación

• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related software engineering role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, operators, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git and GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows across environments (dev, staging, prod).
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Adapt shared pipelines for clients while keeping code clean and reusable.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization, including infra upgrades and new data tech adoption.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
